  • 1. Why do I need a Day-of Coordinator…can’t I just ask my family or friends to help?
A day-of coordinator will help you out throughout the entire day – they are the main contact for all your vendors, they ensure that the day runs smoothly according to your timeline, and they will be the ones to help solve any issues that arises on the day of. There is more work to this role than what most people think, so to have a family member or friend take on this role, they would not be able to enjoy and share the day with you to the fullest.
  • 2. The venue already provides a coordinator, what is the difference between a day-of coordinator versus a venue coordinator?"
A venue coordinator deals with everything in regards to the venue itself. Their responsibilities include ensuring that the space is presentable, they are in charge of food timeline/set-up, that restrooms are intact, that the house lights or house systems are working, overseeing the needs of vendors that come to set-up, and so forth. A day-of coordinator works for the couple – they look after YOU. They make sure that the months that you have spent on planning your special day goes the way you want. They will be the main contact for all your vendors, for any questions or if a problem arises, and will oversee the whole set-up and timeline, so that your day goes uninterrupted and stress-free!
  • 3. How many hours does the Day-of Coordinator work on the event day?
Our coordinator works from the time of set-up (or when required), all the way to the end of the night!
  • 4. I don’t really understand what Wedding Consultation is or who it is for?
The wedding consultation are for couples who are planning their own wedding but require a bit of help a specific area. For example, they might need help with budget allocation, scheduling of the timeline, or need an extra set of "eyes" to double-check that they have not missed anything in their final plans. Consultations mostly run about an hour long; longer or more sessions available depending on the extent of help needed.
  • 5. When is the best time to hire a planner?
Typically, most couples start to hire a full wedding planner right after their engagement announcement/party, or as soon as they want to start planning for their wedding. For day-of coordinators, most couples reach out three or four months prior their wedding date up to the month before. For our service, we do recommend at least 2-3 months prior for the purpose of reserving the date you want as we get fully booked especially during peak season.
  • 6. Does the Wedding Planner also plan Bridal Showers or Bachelorette Parties?
Our lead planner also does special events planning, so that definitely include showers and local bachelorette/bachelor parties.
  • 7. Do you provide a Bridal Emergency Kit?
Yes, we do! We bring our own personal kit available for use when needed. The kit will be presented to you during one of our meetings.
  • 8. Do you get discounts from Vendors?
Depending on how close we have worked with the vendors, it is possible for them to offer us a better deal or include add-ons to their existing packages. We do not get any kickbacks/commission from vendors. When we search for vendors, we always look for which is the best-suited for you and your needs while ensuring top-quality and excellent service, so their offered prices will obviously match the extent of their work (hence, we do not engage in extensive bargaining to respect the value of their service).
  • 9. Do you do Destination Weddings as well?
